Taxonomic note
According to Silva et al. (1996) the genus Struveopsis Rhyne & H.Robinson (1968: 468) and Pseudostruvea Egerod (1975: 47) appear to be synonymous. It is less certain, however, that their type species, S. chagoensis and P. siamensis, are conspecific (Guiry, pers. comm.). - (11 May 2006) - G.M. Guiry
