Type Species
The type species (lectotype) of the genus Centroceras is Centroceras clavulatum (C.Agardh) Montagne.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Corallophila bella (Setchell & Gardner) R.E.Norris.

University of California, Berkeley.
