Marine cosmopolitan species. Frequent on Palmaria decipiens, and rare to very rare on Delesseria lancifolia, Hymenocladiopsis crustigena, Pantoneura plocamioides, Plocamium cartilagineum, Porphyra endiviifolia and Phaerus antarcticus (Al-Handal & Wulff 2008). - (07 May 2010) - G.M. Guiry
