Hooker No 1335 (Index Nominum Algarum).

Adjective (Latin), with slender leaves.
General Environment
This is a marine species.
Habitat
Usually epiphytic on other algae on coasts of strong wave action and known from depths of 2-25 m; normally an entangled epiphyte on other species of Plocamium or other bushy algae (Womersley 1994: 391).
