Type Information
Type locality: N. Europ. Russia; (INA 1996) Notes: According to Barcyte et al. (2024: 416), no authentic strain for Korsikov's C. obtusum exists, and no type locality was specified by the author and thus the interpretation of the species relies solely on the author's drawings. Upon examining the morphology of strain ACOI 732 (from Serra de Estrela, Covão do Boeiro, Portuga), they recommend this strain as a suitable candidate for future epitypification of C. obtusum.

Adjective (Latin), obtuse, blunt (Stearn 1983).
