Type Species
The type species (holotype) of the genus Bartoniella is Bartoniella crenata (J.Agardh ex Mazza) Kylin.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Austrofolium equatorianum (E.Y.Dawson) M.J.Wynne.
