Type locality: Chile; (Silva & al. 1996: 123) Neotype: Carlo Guiseppe Bertero; PC (Herb. Montagne); (Silva & Chacana 2005: 110,111) Notes: The Bertero specimen of Liagora, collected in Islas Juan Fernández, is designated as neotype by Silva & Chacana (2005: 110, 111).
