General Environment
This is a marine species.
Habitat
On sublittoral holdfasts of Ecklonia maxima (Chamberlain 1994: 143). Commonly grows intermixed with P. fragile on various algae and on the seagrass Amphibolis antarctica (Penrose 1990).
