Type locality: "Hab. ad oras australes Novae Hollandiae", (probably Port Phillip Heads, Victoria); (Silva & al. 1996: 861) Type: J. B. Wilson; (Womersley 1984: 232) Notes: Silva et al. (1996) recommend consulting Womersley (1984: 232) for more information on the type locality of this species. According to Silva & Womersley (1956: 272) the type has not been located.
