Nomenclatural note
According to INA, "dorsifera" when transferred to a masculine genus can become either "dorsiferus" or "dorsifer"; Silva used "dorsiferus" and established precedence. However, Dumilag, Nelson & Kraft (2019: 271) insist that "dorsiferus" is a "mistaken orthographic variant". It is genrally accepted that is it a matter of choice when used as an epithet. - (16 January 2020) - M.D. Guiry
Distributional note
