Habitat note
According to Bak & al. (2012: 227, from the Polish): "... frequent, in places enormously on sea coasts, in estuaries and salt marshes. It occurs in inland naturally salty waters and in highly saline waters, but rarely in populations with a large number of individuals, e.g. in salty springs (Wojtal 2012).
