Type Information
Type locality: Freiburg im Breisgau, southern Germany (‘Friburgi Brisgavorum in sylvis humidis detecta nec infrequens’); Notes: A type was not designated. Millardet ‘s (1870) fig. 29 is suggested as a lectotype (Rindi, April, 2002).

Distributional note
According to Rindi et al. (2004), a taxonomic reassessment is desirable for extraeuropean records of this species. Although records of this species are available for the British Isles, this species probably does not occur in Britain and Ireland (Rindi et al., 2004; Rindi 2011: 571; Skaloud et al. 2018: 222). - (11 May 2006) - G.M.
